What we do
We provide housing and support services for current and former foster youth who attend college or trade schools. We work in partnership with the educational institutions to ensure that eligible students get the support they need in order to complete their degrees. Currently, Angels Nest is proud to partner with California State University, Dominguez Hills, and their Toro Guardian Scholars Program.
Why we serve
Los Angeles is home to the largest transitional aged youth population in the United States. More than 25% of former foster children become homeless within two to four years of leaving the system. The biggest obstacle facing former foster youth to stay in school is housing instability. That is where Angels Nest steps in and steps up. We aim to provide housing assistance and wraparound services to those who need it most.
